MANSFIELD AND DISTRICT – 10 DAYS TO Saturday Sent on behalf of Mansfield District Commander Nick Butler.

 Crimes reported over the past 10 days, 12:00 4th March 2019- 12:00 Noon 14th March 2019.

Only those areas with reported crimes are listed.

Berry Hill
 
Burglary Dwelling;
Monday the 4th March police received reports of a building site in the office and canteen on Lindhurst Way West. This happened overnight on Sunday the 3rd March between the hours of 16.00hours and 08.30 hours on Monday 4th March.
 
 
Burglary Other:
 
A new build property on Berry Hill building site on Old Newark Road was entered and vandalised with paint. This happened on Sunday 10th March.
 
 
Broomhill
 
 Burglary  Other Than Dwelling;
 
 Allotment gardens Broomhill Lane, a shed has been broken into by breaking the padlock open. This happened between Monday the 11 th March and Tuesday  the 12 th March. Nothing was taken.



Cumberlands:
 
Theft From Motor Vehicle:
 
Vehicle was broken into on Saturday 2nd March at 02.00hours. Change was taken from within. Reported to the police on Saturday 9th March
 
Theft Other:
 
Friday the 8th March, reports of a non-payment of fare to  taxi driver on West field Lane at 21.26hours
 
 
Eakring
 
Theft Other:
A Voodoo pushbike in orange and black was stolen from a shed between the hours of 23.00hours on Wednesday 13th March and 05.00 on the 14th March.
 
On Thursday the 14th March a bag and contents were stolen from Skerry Park
 
 
Forest Town East
 
Theft Other:
Mobile phone was left in a taxi on Wednesday 13th March at 11.30 hours.  Device was deactivated in Forest Town area.
 
Forest Town West
 
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
Renault Traffic van was stolen from Stuart Avenue at 13.39hours on Thursday the 7th March whilst driver was delivering parcels.
 
White Transit van was stolen between 18.00hours on Monday the 11th March and 06.30 hours on Tuesday 12th March, from Aylesbury way. Keys were not taken.
 
 
Grange Farm:
 
Burglary  Other Than Dwelling;
 
Attempted break into a garage on Skegby Lane. Damage caused but no entry gained. This happened during Tuesday the 5th March.
 
Between the hours of 17.15 hours on Wednesday the 6th March and 06.30hours on Thursday the 7th March a caravan was broken into on Sutton Road.
 
 
 
 
Ladybrook
 
 
Burglary Dwelling:
 
Property has been entered an address on Stockwell Court and wrote offensive words on the wall in blue pen. This happened at 12.00 hours on Monday 11th March.
 
Lindhurst:
 
Theft from Motor Vehicle:
A van was broken into between 17.45 hours and 19.30hours on the 4th March.
 
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
 
A Ford Transit van in silver was stolen from Pinewood Drive on Monday the 4th March at around 14.00hours.

Theft from Motor Vehicle:
 
A Volkswagen transporter van was broken into on Monday the 4th March between 12.30hours and 15.00hours. Tools stolen from inside, this happened on Jubilee Way South
 
 
Theft Other:
A battery has been stolen from a plant Cherry Picker and damage was also caused. This happened between16.30 hours on Monday the 4th March and 08.00hours on Tuesday 5th March.
 
Male passenger left a taxi on Bamford Drive, without making payment on Tuesday the 12th March at 00.28 hours
 
 
 
Pleasley Hill:
 
Theft Of Motor Vehicle:
 
Piaggio Zip in black was stolen at approximately 18.45 hours on Monday the 4th March, from outside a shop on Chesterfield Road North.
 
Theft from Motor Vehicle:
 
Volkswagen Transporter van was broken on Kingfisher Road into overnight Sunday the 10th March and Monday the 11th March, call to police at 07.15hours. Tools were stolen.
 
Peugeot 407 was broken into overnight Monday 11th March and Tuesday the 12 th March. Vehicle was searched, but nothing taken, and no damage was caused to gain entry.
 

Portland


Theft from Motor Vehicle:
 
A van was broken into on King Edward Avenue. Tools were taken and damage was caused.  It is believed to have happened between Friday 1st March and Saturday the 2nd March. This was reported to the police on Monday the 4th March.
 
Theft Other:
Friday 8th March batteries were stolen from the rear of a commercial site on Great Central Road.
 
Between 13.52 hours and15.45 hours on Friday the 8th March, rings were taken from a jacket pocket, whilst he was attending a gym on Nottingham Road.
 
Priory:
Theft from Motor :
Tuesday 12th March, a vehicle was broken into on Byron Avenue. Untidy search, nothing taken, vehicle was still secured when he returned to it.
 
Ravensdale:
Burglary Dwelling:
Items were stolen from a property on Austin Close. This happened between 08.00hoursand 11.50hours on Tuesday 5th March.
 
Zinc stump scooter was stolen from a secured shed on The Park. This happened between 08.45hours Friday 1st March and 15.30hours on Friday the 4th March.
 


Robin Hood:
 
Theft Other:
Mail stolen from a letterbox attached to a property on Mallatratt Place. This Reported to the police on Saturday the 9th March.
 
 
Sherwood:
 
Burglary Other than Dwelling:-
Between 14.00 hours on Tuesday the 5th March and 05.55hours on Wednesday the 6th March two push bikes were stolen from a garage on Debdale Way. 1 Boardman cycle and 1 Voodoo cycle were taken. No damage to the garage.
 
Town Centre:
Burglary Other Than Dwelling:
 A mobile phone and keys were stolen from a desk in a store warehouse, on Saint Peters Retail Park. This happened on Sunday the 10th March at 14.40hours.
 
Theft Other:
 
A pushbike was stolen from outside a store on Stockwell Gate. The theft occurred at 15.45hours on Thursday 7th March.
 
Theft of money was left in error at an ATM on West gate Town Centre. The £30 was missing when the person returned to the machine a few minutes later. This happened on Saturday 9th March around 16.15hours.
 
Purse was taken from a bag whilst in a night club on Clumber Street. This happened during the early hours of Sunday morning of the 10th March.
 
Theft of a mobile phone was reported, whilst in a night club on Clumber Street. This happened between the hours of 02.00hours and 03.00hours on Sunday the 10th March.
 
Theft of a mobile phone, whilst in a night club on Leeming Street, It was taken from the bar area between the hours of 02.20hours and 03.00hours on Sunday the 10th March.
 
Saturday the 9th March, between the hours of 00.00hours and 04.00hours of Sunday the 10th March, a bag was stolen from a night club on Clumber Street. This was reported to the police on Monday the 11th March.
 
Wallet was stolen from public building on West Gate Mansfield. This happened between 10.45hours and 11.30hours on Wednesday the 13th March.
 
 
Wallet was stolen from a person in the town Centre, at 23.35hours on Wednesday the 13th march
 
 
Warsop Birklands and Church Warsop:
BurglaryDwelling:
 
Lead has been stolen from the changing rooms on Carr Lane recreation ground. Tiles have also been ripped off the roof. This happened on Friday the 8th March at 16.27hours.
